Welcome to the German Embassy in Botswana!
The premises of the German Embassy in Gaborone are currently undergoing a complete refurbishment and therefore the consular services that can be offered are limited. - Passports for German citizens - Certifying of photocopies (however no certifying of signatures) - Life certificates for pensioners (“Lebensbescheinigung”)
Please schedule an appointment through our contact form. For all other consular services please contact the German Embassy in Pretoria.
For Botswanan citizens and third country nationals the German embassy also issues short-term visas (Schengen visas): Please make an appointment to submit your application at TLS - Visa Application Centre Gaborone. Applications for long-term visas cannot be processed in Gaborone at the moment. Please contact the German Embassy in Pretoria.
